We know including The Chestnut Appeal in your Will is a huge decision. We thank you for even considering it. But your gift will make a tremendous difference to the future lives of men affected by cancer.
Your gift will support our pioneering work supporting men affected by prostate, testicular and penile cancers. It will fund new vital equipment, nurses and expert care that gives men with cancer a better chance of survival – as well as helping their friends and family.
We are incredibly grateful for your support. Your gift is the future of our work.
Over half of the population do not have a will and of those that do, over 20% of them have never reviewed it. Have you thought about your future and what will happen if the worst happens?
What people often forget is that making a will is not just about sorting out the financial aspects. A will ensures that your final wishes are clear. Your possessions and property are going to the right place, and the family and children you leave behind are looked after.
Gifts left to The Chestnut Appeal in wills are an important part of our income. The support offered to many men connected to The Chestnut Appeal may not be possible without it a legacy donation. By leaving us a legacy gift, you can really make a lasting difference.
We are working with the National Free Wills Network to offer a simple, free will writing service either online or over the phone. Please support us by writing your will with them and either leave a donation to The Chestnut Appeal or a lasting gift in your will.
With our trusted will writing partners we can offer you the opportunity all year round to write your will for free.
You don’t have to include a gift in your will to The Chestnut Appeal to use our Will writing services but we hope you will consider a gift once loved ones are provided for.

For a will to be valid, there are certain conditions that must be met.
No. During the will writing process, you will be asked whether you are happy for your chosen partner to share certain information with us. This includes whether you have left us a gift in your will and the value of this gift. Having this information helps us to plan for a future where more men than ever are living with cancer.
The Chestnut Appeal covers the cost of the Will. While you do not have to leave us a gift we hope that by taking advantage of this service you will choose to leave us a gift that covers the Will’s cost and helps fund out vital work for years to come.
