Trustee Vacancies!

The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health is looking to recruit two new Trustees to our board.

You’ll bring a blend of experience and expertise to help ensure the charity continues to have maximum impact as well as overseeing the fantastic work being undertaken by our dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters, which is to save and improve the lives of those diagnosed and affected by prostate, testicular and penile cancers.

Our Trustee Board meets at least four times a year, mainly in Plymouth and in Cornwall. In addition to this, there is also opportunities to work with the CEO on special projects, as well as get involved with other sub-committees depending on your passion and experience.

Ideally candidates will have:

  • Personal direct or indirect experience of prostate, testicular or penile cancers or have experience of medically treating men’s cancers, either in a community health setting or hospital setting.

The Trustee Board welcomes applications to extend the diversity of its membership and expertise from all sectors of the community.

Please send any queries, or your CV and supporting statement (no more than two sides of A4) to Lesley-Ann Simpson, chestnut.appeal@nhs.net  explaining how you believe your skills and experience will be of assistance to the charity.

We look forward to hearing from you.
