We’re excited to be funding a special medical training day designed to help men who are facing fertility challenges after cancer treatment.
The event will see specialists from all over the country come together to share their expertise with urology trainees here in the South West. It’s hoped that this will improve local access for patients struggling with fertility issues after cancer treatment.
Mr John Pascoe, Urology Specialist Registrar at University Hospitals Plymouth, said: “Fertility issues are the forgotten consequence for cancer treatment, and there is a national disparity in fertility services for men in this situation.
“Thank you so much to The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health for offering to support this important training day.”
