We’ve teamed up with South West Hygiene to place life-saving information stickers in toilets across Devon and Cornwall.
The initiative aims to raise awareness of prostate, penile and testicular cancers, giving men the confidence to recognise symptoms and speak up.
The sticker campaign, kindly funded by South West Hygiene, encourages men to listen to their body and take action if they notice changes. Each sticker also carries a QR code link to our guide on the most common male cancer, prostate cancer, so that men can quickly find out the facts and see if they might be at risk.
Nicholas Hunt, Head of Sales and Marketing at South West Hygiene said: “We are incredibly proud to support and work alongside The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health. Their dedication to raising awareness and improving men’s health across the region is truly inspiring.
“It’s an honour to contribute to such meaningful work, and we look forward to continuing this important partnership.”
Lesley-Ann Simpson, Chief Executive Officer at The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health, said: “We’re so grateful to South West Hygiene for supporting us in such a thoughtful way. Thank you for helping us reach places we’d never normally get to. Your kindness and support mean more than you know.
“Adding our awareness labels to their sanitary bins might seem like a small thing, but it genuinely helps start conversations that could save a man’s life.”
South West Hygiene is a family-run business operating across the South West. A huge thank you to Nick and the team for their generosity in funding this campaign.
If you or someone you know is affected by prostate, testicular or penile cancer, our free patient and family support groups across Devon and Cornwall offer a space to connect with others who understand what you’re going through.
