We’re taking the men in our support group to Everyman cinema in Plymouth at the end of November for an afternoon of coffee, cake and quizzing.
The event will be a fantastic opportunity to socialise and reflect on the year before the festive period begins.
The donations that you make are vital in allowing us to host free support group events and days out such as the quiz. The money we raise also helps us to facilitate the group’s monthly sessions, where men can meet others in a similar situation, hear from guest speakers, and find mutual support.
Our support groups are totally free of charge, and look to help men battling cancer when they need it most.
The sessions are patient-led, meaning that those who come along can tell us what they need from us. We’ll be there for as long as they need during and after their treatment.
The group is also a great opportunity to meet other people from across the region who are going through, or have gone through, the same procedures and experiences. The support group is open to family, friends, and anyone who wants to gain knowledge and access our support in a welcoming space.
