A huge thank you to everyone at Hyde Park Social Club in Peverell, Plymouth for their incredible fundraising efforts in support of men’s health charities.
On 15 August, the club hosted a quiz night and raffle, welcoming both members and non-members. Participants paid £2 to enter the quiz and following the event a raffle was held along with an auction of generously donated artworks.
Fundraising continued the following evening with a darts competition which also included a raffle.
In addition, donation tins had been placed on the bar for several weeks beforehand, helping to boost the overall total raised.
Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone involved, an outstanding £1,943 was raised. The funds were split between The Chestnut Appeal: £1,360 and Prostate Cancer UK: £583
