Thank you to everyone who took part in the 2026 Plymouth Breakwater Swim for The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health.
In total 230 of you swam the 4km from The Breakwater back into Tinside…… your support means we can reach more men than ever before, and can continue to support, care and raise awareness in our communities across Devon & Cornwall.
With nearly 1 in 5 men in the Plymouth area being diagnosed with prostate cancer at stage 4, and in Cornwall 25% of cases are diagnosed when the cancer is already advanced, significantly higher than the England average of 17%, we have a lot to do to increase awareness of the most common cancer in the UK.
