Looe Island to East Looe Beach Swim 2026

The 2026 Looe Island to East Looe Beach swim will take place on Saturday 19th September

from the Quayside at Looe, swimmers will be taken to the island on a flotilla of Boats. and once the safety team are in place the swim back to East Looe Beach will begin.

Registration for the swim is £50. Your entry fee covers the cost of organising the event, but it’s the money you raise that helps Prostate Cancer patients and their families, so we ask all our Looe Island Swimmers set themselves a fundraising goal of £50

Your £50 registration includes; Event swim cap, Full lifeguard and medical support, an event medal, A delicious pasty at the finish.

The Looe Island swim offers unique viewing opportunities and finishes in the heart of Looe, so it’s not just an iconic swim for the competitors; it’s also great for friends, family and other spectators. The Island itself is a nature reserve owned by Cornwall Wildlife Trust, and the organisers are grateful for the cooperation of the Trust in allowing the swim to start from the Island beach, and to all the boatmen of Looe who will ferry swimmers out for the start.
