In a moment of Lockdown 3.0 madness, I signed up for the Drake Island Swim, forgetting that the pools are closed and the Life Centre is in the middle of ripping theirs up…so, I am learning to swim and training for a 1.5km sprint in the sea and in the middle of winter (cue violins).
The Chestnut Appeal, a charity that was found in 1999 at Derriford Hospital and has since gone on to be at the forefront of prostate cancer care right across the region. I am looking to support fundraising by rattling my virtual tin whilst publicly sharing my progression as I swim towards race day. You can donate here and follow my progress by adding me on the usual social media platforms.
