This time last year we were your classic doggie paddlers with little knowledge about sea swimming.

In August 2020 we decided to challenge ourselves and learn to sea swim properly. With absolutely no clue about technique, safety equipment; tides or riptides we applied our minds and submerged our free time into sea swimming and all the fascinating intricacies and amazing people to follow.

A year later we now embark on our first “official and proper” 4K sea swim for The Chestnut Appeal for Men’s Health.

To be honest we are absolutely bricking it; this for both of us will be a mental and physical battle; the imaginary sharks and the larger than life jellyfish and the ever omnipresent seaweed often takes our breath away literally. Yet we are going to push ourselves for this outstanding charity and raise awareness and funds for men’s Cancer.

We won’t be fast, we’ll definitely be last – but we will finish.

Please support us – it’ll mean a lot.

Love Ros and Gilly xx
