On Sunday 18th July I’ll be taking part in my second open water distance swim – in aid of the Chestnut Appeal. This charity is at the forefront of prostate cancer care across the south.

Hi there my name is Kerry. I wanted to take part in this swim as it is a charity I feel I would love to support. This will be a challenge for me as I haven’t been swimming that long and only completed my first sea swim before Covid. I don’t like being out of my depth and I don’t like jellyfish. But I love the water. I am determined to give it another go and raise awareness and get more confident out of my comfort zone.
