Bea, Lily & Ali’s Summer Swims!

Between Bea, Lily & Ali we’re swimming three  events this summer, covering over 20km of open water in Plymouth Sound & Bigbury Bay.

These events are not only a personal challenge, but raise much needed funds for The Chestnut Appeal: supporting prostate cancer patients across the region.

The swims are:

– Drakes Island – 27th June (postponed til 25th July) so we swam a mile back & forth in Firestone Bay on the 26th June instead!

– The Breakwater – 15th August. Start tbc

– Burgh Island – 19th September. Start tbc

These awesome young ladies (& me/Ali) have been swimming in the sea throughout winter, & are excited – if a little nervous of encounters with seals, eels & weed (don’t even mention jellyfish!) – to get going!

Sadly cancer hits us all in some form, so please sponsor us. Help support the Chestnut Appeal, & encourage us to take on our Big Summer Swim Challenge!
