During April we’re running a huge Billboard & Bus Campaign across Devon & Cornwall to encourage more men to contact their GP’s for check-ups. It is thought that up to 50,000 people in the UK have cancer but have not been diagnosed because of disruption caused by the pandemic, a new report has found. Macmillan Cancer Support published the findings which warn COVID-19 has created a backlog of undiagnosed cancer which, at best, could take a further 18 months to tackle in England alone.
With that in mind, our continued message to the community is: We believe it is vital to get more men talking about their health and taking action when they feel like something could be wrong.
Look out for our cheeky squirrel on Billboards and on the back of Buses from 3rd April 2021, in Plymouth, Exeter, Truro, St Austell, Torquay and North Devon.
Special thanks to Fuel Communications who put this campaign together for the charity. We couldn’t do our work without great business support like this from the community, so thank you so very much. You can check out their work here >> https://fuelcommunications.com/
