Thank you so much to Nicky from Jack Speak in Dartmouth, who donated a Rugby Ball to our amazing fundraiser Perry. He auctioned it and managed to raise £60.00, so thank you so much to Nicky at Jack Speak, Perry Mason and of course the man that bought the ball, Martin Skinner.

JackSpeak was created to reflect the history and heritage that has been formed between the Royal Navy and Dartmouth over the centuries. Home to the Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth boasts a beautifully sheltered deep water port which is often referred to as the jewel of the South Hams. Sailing, fishing and the sea has shaped the harbour and its people which JackSpeak reflects in its choice of nautical and naval influenced garments.

The company was founded by 2 rugby playing friends who first met in a pub in Dartmouth whilst watching the rugby World Cup. JackSpeak as a concept was formed when the business experience of one and the design background of the other merged and the tiny spark of an idea was nurtured into the colourful shape it is today. Family connections to the Royal Navy also helped with the inclusion of an ex WREN and an officer’s seamstress who was at the Britannia Royal Naval College for over 20 years. Combined with over 30 years experience in graphic design and 25 years international business experience this all culminated in helping the pair to develop an eye for detail and a nose for style which is reflected in all the products JackSpeak offer.
