The Chestnut Appeal Drakes Island swim will take place on Sunday 27th June with a swim time of around 07.30am

Participants will set off from the beach at Firestone Bay with the swim to Drakes Island and back taking place in the shelter of the Bay.

Situated in Plymouth Sound, this 6.5 acre Island has been home to a military fortification since the time of the Tudors. Today the Island is in private hands
